American actor best known for his role in the Blade trilogy of films, Demolition Man, White Men Can't Jump and Passenger 57. In a 1998 interview it mentioned: "As a kid, he was short (5-foot-5), had a Napoleonic complex and often got into trouble, says actor Wesley Snipes. But he was never bad. He knew by the time he was 14 that he wanted to be a performer. It just took the world a while to realize it. And after he turned 17, he finally grew five inches in a year and a half".
